CRP Training

Crisis Response Plan (CRP) Training Workshops

Training workshops are available for the following audiences:

  • Mental health care professionals (e.g., psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, counselors);
  • Health care professionals (e.g., physicians, nurses); and
  • Members of the community (e.g., peer specialists, teachers, family members, first responders).

Workshops are geared towards the specific needs of each audience, and include demonstrations and skills practice via role play with an approved trainer and consultant. All CRP workshop trainees receive a Crisis Response Plan pocketbook. Continuing education (CE) units are available.

Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (BCBT) Workshops

As a central component of Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (BCBT), CRP training is embedded within all two-day BCBT workshops. BCBT workshops are designed for licensed mental health professionals. All BCBT workshop trainees receive a copy of the BCBT manual and a Crisis Response Plan pocketbook.  Continuing education (CE) units are available.
